The Screen Printing Process

To help you understand the time and care that is required for each screen printed job we are providing the steps of the screen printing process

• The first step in the process is the customer providing us the artwork
• The art work is review to determine suitability, changes made with customer approval
• Ink colors, size and print location finalized 
• We'll work with you until you are 100% satisfied with your design
• After art work approval, we print the designs on film that will be used to make the screens
• The screens are pre-registered and checked for detail and quality 
• The first step in the screen making process is to coat the screens with a photosensitive emulsion
• The screens are allowed to dry
• The art work and screen are placed on the light table and exposed to light
• After being exposed to light the screens are then washed out with a pressure washer
• Each color in the design requires a separate screen
• Each screen must be taped, setup, and then squeegeed
• We flash dry the ink between each color layer to provide you bright professional quality printing
